Introduction to breathable plug and breathable cap:

Breathable caps fit over the ports of these devices to protect against dust, splash, and temporary water intrusion while providing pressure venting and equalization. The ePTFE membrane is securely welded to the plastic part, and all vents on the production line must be tested before being delivered to customers.

Changing  harsh environmental  conditions cause  seals to fail and allow contaminants to damage  automotive  lamps. AYN® Plug-in vent cap could effectively equalize pressure and reduce condensation in lamps’ sealed enclosures, while keeping out solid and liquid contaminants. It can increase the safety, reliability and service life of Automotive lamps. 

Shelf life is two years from the date of receipt for this product as long as this product is stored in its original packaging in an environment below 80°F (27°C) and 60% RH.
